rifare started from my experience working in construction, where I noticed how many materials and offcuts were discarded without ever being given a second thought.

I wanted to explore the idea that beauty can be found in what we consider waste. concrete cores, broken walls, construction fragments and leftover materials - elements destined to be thrown away or incinerated - can become the starting point for something new.

My name is Leo, an architecture student at EPFL, and rifare is my way of exploring design through reuse, experimentation and the beauty of the discarded.
